In addition to Paul Auster, I also like his daughter, Sophie.

I have one of those dual-flush toilets in my apartment. Very middle-of-the-road in terms of price. Main reason that we got it is the bathroom is funny and odd-shaped with a corner cut off for vertical piping and the rough-in is non-standard, and it was the only model I could reliably tell would fit in the space before I ordered it. In all, entirely caused by normal urban construction constraints in a (I guarantee) completely non-Vongerichtified NYC construction setting.
