Understand that art is subjective, but as a fan and follower of Graffiti and street art for the past 20 years, I can tell you that Mr Brainwash is a nothing more than prolific hack. He kinda deserves the criticism. No one in the graf or "street art" community really respects him and to make matters worse he's also symbolic of the Californiacation of New York.

It is very true that MBW gets no street cred. However, he is no real Californian/Angelino, but a french transplant. NY will never be California and vice versa. Shit, LA has their own share of midwest/rich transplants ruining LA, just as NYC has its share too.
