Not to be curmudgeonly or anything, but the Nathan's/Feltman connection was not "uncovered" recently. Well-known to us Brooklyn natives whose roots go back a couple of generations or more.

I would stop by there as a under 15 year old in the early 70's after running away from a shitty night at home or coming back from babysitting on 21st street. That candy store was during those times the only light on that block. In recent years it was where I would break down and buy an illicit milk shake. and it was the location of one of my earlier blogs before I realized I had to post with pictures. I passed some seriously annoying kid talking stupid about egg creams like he was original.
