NYC ABCs

Thanks to Bryan Waterman for calling our attention to this alphabet clip from an early 1970s Sesame Street. It used the streets of New York City to make the alphabet and many of its letters are from vanished signs.



The Q comes from the Stardust Banquet Hall and the R hails from a neon sign for RADIO appliances.



The T comes from a telephone booth, of course.



And the V is spotted on a sign selling hi-fi phonos, tape, rec'ds, and _OLO_ TV.
