  1. As another comment somewhere noted, if all 12,000 people who signed the petition to save St. Marks Bookshop actually went there once a month, every month, and bought a book, the store wouldn't have to close.
    People... GO BUY SOME BOOKS.
    We can actually save this place, unlike so many others.
    The closure is not inevitable.
    Unless, of course, all anyone does is sign an online petition.
