  1. It would be great if Penza could pull that off, though of course it won't be the same, and 2011 is very different from 1984.

    And the new location almost has to be farther east. The concept simply won't work anymore west of 2nd Avenue (or really west of Avenue A). That area of town is going to be NYU-land for a very long time.

  2. Last Wednesday up in the Bronx we saw some guys open up a fire plug. Hadn't seen that in a while. Classic NYC heatwave relief.
