Part of of it's beauty was its solitude though.Petehttp://www.livepoultry.etsy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-72209386569691689712013-03-08T21:42:19.011-05:002013-03-08T21:42:19.011-05:00I recently discovered this blog when doing researc...I recently discovered this blog when doing research on Ivy Brown Gallery. An amazing piece on a fab woman, who I hope will not vanish anytime soon.
Last weekend, I too went for a walk and passed by the Coignet Building. My wife and I had many questions and you answered most of them. Thank you. We are now avid Jeremiah followers and are loving your archives.
Mandadhttp://mandadworld.wordpress.com/shattered/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-1385745410838534682013-03-07T22:24:00.899-05:002013-03-07T22:24:00.899-05:00that building has to stay, even if it becomes chic...that building has to stay, even if it becomes chic condos.lauranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-70793651535973716012013-03-07T17:58:50.495-05:002013-03-07T17:58:50.495-05:00I can't be the only person who walks by that b...I can't be the only person who walks by that building and thinks every time of the Paper Street Soap Company.Jordannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-78781336734056832632013-03-07T15:03:18.154-05:002013-03-07T15:03:18.154-05:00A little piece I wrote on this building a few year...A little piece I wrote on this building a few years back: http://newyorkdailyphoto.com/nydppress/?p=1017Brian Dubéhttp://www.newyorkdailyphoto.com/nydppressnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-52900440862329502552013-03-06T11:41:20.111-05:002013-03-06T11:41:20.111-05:00I love this building, with its clear, if clunky re...I love this building, with its clear, if clunky references to Michelangelo's architecture. I have long passed it in wonder, and this video explains it to me. Of course it was a showpiece for the sellers of stone for Beaux Arts architectural details, with it's small but grand staircase, and the transoms above the windows, echoing the Farnese Palace in Rome. I LOVE this building. I've missed the construction going on around it, and want to join the movement to save it.marta applehttp://www.subwaysubculture.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-6774101658014199342013-03-06T11:13:08.708-05:002013-03-06T11:13:08.708-05:00Another gem Jeremiah....what a wonderful building....Another gem Jeremiah....what a wonderful building...and what an informative video.Ms.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09479767121319709878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683382864156505640.post-59782361759331395682013-03-06T08:01:09.465-05:002013-03-06T08:01:09.465-05:00Eye-opening!
